Associate Attorney

Samantha is an associate with Brian D. Perskin & Associates, who joined the firm in July 2025. She assists clients in matrimonial and custody cases, specializing in working with clients who are navigating domestic violence. 

Prior to joining the firm, Samantha was an Equal Justice Works fellow at A Better Balance, where she gained national recognition for her work representing pregnant and postpartum students facing discrimination at school. Her prominent cases include a national impact litigation case to defend Title IX regulations impacting pregnant and postpartum students and a lawsuit filed against the New York City Department of Education for their mistreatment of a pregnant middle schooler.

Samantha attended Vanderbilt Law School. She was a Notes Editor on the Vanderbilt Law Review, where her Note, Utilizing Telemedicine to Expand Abortion Access, was published. During law school, Samantha was awarded the Damali A. Booker award for demonstrated legal advocacy, the National Association of Women Lawyers award for Outstanding Graduate, and the Clinic Legal Education Association’s Excellence Award for her work with the Stanton First Amendment Clinic. Prior to law school, Samantha worked for a Member of the California State Assembly, where she assisted families in accessing disability and family leave benefits. She graduated cum laude from Dominican University of California, where she was recently honored with the Outstanding Recent Graduate award by the Alumni Board.

Samantha’s work has been featured in Bloomberg Law, NBC News, and the Bronx Times.
